We were thrilled to have ZOOS Greek Iced Tea as our Platinum Case Sponsor! ZOOS (pronounced Zeus) is a unique, first to market Greek Iced-Tea that is developed to deliver on great taste, unique offerings, and a healthier alternative to other iced-tea products currently on the market. Launched in May, 2014 in New England, ZOOS plans to capitalize on the current industry trends of Greek products and healthy beverages as the first and only Greek iced-tea product in the United States

 

As the world leader in entrepreneurial education, Babson College is pleased to host the 2015 Babson Marketing Case Competition,on April 11th, where graduate students will have the opportunity to apply entrepreneurial thinking to solve current marketing challenges and compete for $6000 in cash prizes!

 

Participants will have the chance to meet, network and collaborate with students from different MBA programs as well as our sponsors. We have  had participants from over 30 schools, including: Babson, Harvard, MIT, Boston University, Boston College, Bentley College, Dartmouth, Yale, Duke, UCONN, Columbia and NYU Stern

The case was distributed via email to teams 4-5 days prior to Saturday, April 11th. The case provides some industry data and competitive information, but we encourage teams to supplement this data and info with their own research. As teams will have only 4 hours to come up with a solution and put together their presentations , we strongly suggest the teams to do industry research prior to Saturday, April 11th. Teams will get the actual case question and problem they are to solve when they register on Saturday morning i.e the actual problem teams will be solving, will NOT be distributed with the case. 

 

Below is a tentative schedule that has been used for previous competitions. While the exact details are subject to change, we expect this '15BMCC to follow a similar format

GENERAL RULES

To get started, first the team must be created by the team captain. The team captain will register all 4 team members. Once the registration is complete, we will need an email with the school name, team name and team member names. 

 

TEAM GUIDELINES
Teams are limited to 4 MBA/MS students each. Members may be from different schools or programs. 

 

LODGING & TRANSPORTATION

In terms of accommodations for the weekend, we’d suggest booking rooms at our Executive Education center first which is located on-campus. If you would like to stay off campus, the Newton Marriott is close to campus (a short cab ride)
